Soho Grand Hotel New York

My recent stay at Soho Grand Hotel was pleasant with a nice room and a perfect location. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the staff at the front desk were friendly. Although some aspects, like small rooms and noisy AC, were a downside, overall, I had a good experience.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable, but we faced issues with noise and temperature control. The staff was helpful, yet some guests reported theft incidents. It's a decent option if you value location over perfection.

This was a fairly nice stay for our wedding on May-25th 2019. We thoroughly enjoyed lobby restaurant for breakfast.

Quaint hotel with great facilities in a perfect location short walk to the subway and great restaurants and bars. Easy check-in, attentive employees from the doorman yo the front desk.

As for me, the area was not very welcoming.

The staff at Soho Grand were welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating, adding unique touches like goldfish in the room and free bicycles. the location is ideal for exploring Soho, with comfortable rooms, great amenities like a mini bar and coffee/tea machines on each floor, and a fantastic bar lounge and breakfast.

The Soho Grand is my go-to spot in NYC. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and great work desk. The staff was accommodating, even getting me extra amenities daily. The decor strikes a perfect balance - stylish yet not overdesigned. However, noise from the bar and thin walls were minor drawbacks. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I appreciate the friendly staff and convenient location.

Loved the hip vibe and the kind staff; the lounge was a total vibe, and the room decor was cozy. The massage service was top-notch, helped me relax like a rockstar between adventures. 🙌 The only tiny bummer was that the doormen slacked on door service a bit, but it didn't rain on my parade.

I liked every detail about my really nice 3 nights stay here. The hotel had a favourable location a super close walk to Field. Stores and boutiques were right next door. The outdoor restaurant was nice with variety of meals in the menu. Actually everything was excellent, my next choice again in New York City.

The hotel was contemporary, I loved well-kept rooms and helpful staff. The location was fab, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Canal Street. Late check-out was useful.

They made me feel welcomed and attended to my needs promptly. The location of the hotel was ideal, with many popular neighborhoods within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the city. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as occasional delays in service and noise in common areas, the overall experience was positive and memorable. I appreciated the effort the housekeeping team put into ensuring our comfort, even though we didn't need our room cleaned daily.

The venue was clean, offered perfect location and staff. I was here for 5 nights and ate at outdoor restaurant in a great area for shopping and dining. It was newly renovated, had nice city views. I loved my stay, had a lovely experience...

Cool hotel with good service in unbeatable location short walk to Bluestone Lane cafe and the shops. The room was elegant with a nice view, champagne plus wonderfully soft sheets. Staff was highly efficient, informative, and responded promptly to requests.

The breakfast was quick, excellent service, superfriendly staff. I slept so comfy in the exceptionally comfortable bed. I loved nearby Aoa Bar And Grill, they had nice drinks. The outdoor bar was good and the drinks were cold.

I liked my stay at this luxury hotel and can't wait to come back. The food was great, with a great selection of options.

The charming Soho Grand Hotel is centrally located in Soho, with attentive staff making my stay cozy. Despite the small rooms, daily housekeeping impressed me, but breakfast at the bistro was a letdown. The comfortable bed and thoughtful room design make this my go-to spot in NYC.

The bed. The room too small even if I took a deluxe corner (no difference with the small one). The price too high for the room . Didn't pay attention to my request for a king side bed. The air conditioning is too noisy. Not suitable for families. Too noisy

Soho Gran Hotel is very well located, the concierges are always very nice and ready to help you, the lounge is very nice except on wedding days when you are not a friend of the bride...

This hotel deserves to be seriously upgraded, like the neighborhood, It's old and resting on its laurels... It's a shame. Given its aging condition, we found it quite expensive this time around.

Recently visited a spot bursting with unique history. Loved the mix of old and new vibes. The decor was a feast for the eyes, with quirky touches in unexpected places. The food selections were eclectic, hitting the spot every time. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The location itself felt like a hidden gem, close to everything worth seeing. Even snagged a beautiful artwork as a souvenir. Can't wait to go back and explore more!

The price-quality ratio is very poor due to the small size of the room. For the same or lower price, on other stays, the room was much bigger at the midtown Hilton or the downtown Marriot!

At the reception desk, especially for breakfast, we are told that there will be at least a quarter of an hour's wait when there are empty tables.

Loved the vibes of this spot, cool lobby and stellar staff that hooked us up with a sick room. The city views from the bed were killer, and the blackout curtains were a godsend, especially after those jetlaggy nights. The only bummer was the noisy AC that kept waking us up; wish they had some bathrobes, and a late checkout was a no-go, but overall, a rad stay! 🌆

Everything was too big, the colors brown/turquoise, all the decoration was dark but very sought after.

Soho Grand offers a ritzy and cozy stay with exceptional staff going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. the fabulous facilities, amazing location, and complimentary bike usage add extra charm to the experience.

Had a cozy stay in a small city-view room. the EXCEPTIONAL staff made me feel special. Would return for the quiet ambiance, despite pricey breakfast. Better than in photos.

The staff, from the valet, to the front desk staff, are professional, warm and accommodating. The hotel has an extremely chic vibe, great location, and a decent size room for NY standards. The proximity to the One World Observatory and the African Burial Ground National Monument allowed for interesting exploration, while the relaxation options like the night club and massage services added a luxurious touch to our stay. Family bonding was certainly enhanced by visiting nearby landmarks such as Katz's Delicatessen and the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation.

Omg, guys, you have to stay at this hotel! the view from my room was stunning, overlooking the city skyline. The staff were so helpful, but breakfast was a mess - arrived late. 🤦‍♂️

My recent stay at this hotel was exceptional! the staff, especially Rina in reservations, went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. They even surprised me with breakfast coupons, which was a fantastic extra touch. the restaurant and bar/lounge area were cozy, and the breakfast in the room was a delightful way to start the day. the location feels like a home away from home, as it's situated in a great neighborhood close to everything SoHo has to offer. the bar and communal areas exuded a cool vibe, and the live jazz on weekends in the Club Room was a cherry on top of an already amazing stay.

One thing that the hotel could improve on is the speed of service at the ground floor cafe/restaurant. While the food and beverages were decent, the slow service was a bit of a downside.

Staying here was fantastic! The location is perfect, surrounded by great places for eating and shopping, and in a convenient area for getting around. The service was amazing, from the accommodating room service to the helpful staff who made arrangements for reservations. The room was immaculately clean, with great amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable.

The common areas and rooms had a beautiful decor and were incredibly comfortable, making the stay truly enjoyable. the staff, especially Anthony at concierge and Remington in the lounge, were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. However, the hotel should work on improving the Wi-Fi connectivity and towel sizes for an even better experience.

but the staff were so good. they took such care, and ensured that i got whatever i asked for. fantastic people and i will always recommend soho grand. the bed was wonderful! getting to sleep was an issue because of very loud music played until 2am on saturday and midnight on sunday night, was not happy about that. barking dogs, but they finally stopped. service for breakfast was quite slow but the food was delicious. overall the room was clean, but the vent in the bathroom had an inch of dust on it. it would take 10 seconds to clean that.

The Japanese food at Soho Grand is like a flavor explosion in your mouth! The nearby 5 Boroughs Pizza and Pepolino offer delicious bites too. Plus, the location and clean rooms hit the spot.

I did not like the servers in the Lounge, especially the ones on Thanksgiving. However, the delightful staff more than made up for it, keeping the experience top-notch.

the location and view were fantastic, with plenty of lovely eateries nearby. the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and our room was clean and beautifully decorated. the hotel itself is charming, with comfortable rooms and tasteful furnishings. the public areas are also top-notch. We particularly enjoyed breakfast in the lounge area, which was very pretty. A special mention to Lonnie and Marcus for their friendly assistance.

I recently stayed at Soho Grand for a weekend getaway. The fantastic room was spotlessly clean and had a modern feel. I especially enjoyed the large flatscreen TV and powerful A/C, perfect for the hot weather. The location is great, right in the heart of SoHo with easy walking access to everything. The staff, particularly Amanda and Stephanie, were incredibly helpful. The free coffee, although located outside the room, was a nice perk and tasted great. I couldn't be more satisfied with my stay.

We recently spent a weekend in a beautiful hotel in the heart of Soho. the decor was stunning, with a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. the bar had plush decor and excellent service, and we enjoyed some delicious cocktails there. the location was ideal, away from the busy city center but still close to all the attractions. We also loved the fact that the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing us with a fabulous room and a bottle of champagne for our special occasion. It truly made our stay memorable.

The take-out Slice Shop had an upside-down Sicilian slice called The Freddy Prinze that was an absolute delight. It was like a culinary masterpiece, with the fresh mozzarella perfectly complementing the flavors. It was a slice of heaven in the heart of New York.

The location of the hotel is amazing. I had a king room with a wonderful view of iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. the hotel has a cool vibe, and the bar and lounge areas were beautiful and lots of fun. the door staff were amazing, and the cleaning staff were excellent. Reception was very helpful, and there were many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. it felt like a cool resting place in a large city, like a home away from home.

Great location, walking distance to all the boutiques in Soho! Loved the luxurious toiletries. Soft towels and comfy slippers were a nice touch. However, the staff could improve their service. Room service menu was excellent though.

The Soho Grand Hotel was a real surprise! The boho-chic decor was fantastic, and the staff were not only cool but also very professional. The bar and lobby were really nice, and the location was perfect. The rooms were not small, and as someone with physical handicaps, I felt very comfortable and had no issues. The corner King room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the decor was lovely. In particular, Magge at the front desk went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The location was buzzing, and the hotel even had a dog park, which I loved, even though we didn't bring our own dog.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic area for shopping and dining. It is close to bars and restaurants which makes it a perfect location for tourists. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and stunning views. The bathroom is spacious and well-equipped. The service is efficient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bar manager makes delicious drinks and the concierge service is excellent.

The air conditioning blower is quite noisy, and the windows are not well sound-proofed even if one had requested a quiet room.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is perfect, right in a great area for shopping and dining, and in a wonderful exciting area. The hotel provides excellent service, from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff, from the doorman to the front desk, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even made arrangements for many amenities to be delivered to our room, including spa reservations and restaurant recommendations. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. We also loved the fact that there was a restaurant and a bar/lounge area on-site, perfect for grabbing a meal or a drink without having to leave the hotel.

The bathroom had ample shelf space, although the lighting and mirror could have been better for makeup and styling. The food at the hotel was good overall, with signature cocktails being a highlight. The lounge and bar in the evening were always buzzing with excitement, and sometimes there was even a DJ spinning. I had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Soho Grand.

Oh, I just loved being woken up by partying tourists and smelling someone else's smoke in my room. So delightful.
